Soichiro "Ichi" Tanabe

Soichiro "Ichi" Tanabe is a professional drummer currently residing in Los angles.
Born in Tottori, Japan. At the age of 23, he moved to Los Angles to study at the California College of Music. From 2016, he begun playing with famed country singer Petrella Ann Bonner and performed opening acts for The Spinners and Barbara Morrison. In 2018, he performed at the musical theater Cupcake in Hollywood as a regular drummer and played musical shows such as Mamma Mia and Avenue Q. From 2019, he begun playing and touring with saxophonist, and composer Cody Dear and singer-songwriter Mike Bauer.
He also started doing recording sessions with famed producer Richard Rudolph and Grammy nominated producer Adam Berg.
Also he is a member of Los Angels based power trio Walls Down and art rock band Brother Sister.
He has been teaching at Hollywood Art Academy as a drum teacher in Pasadena since 2017.
